A woman has been killed and two men have been critically injured after being struck by a train in Delaware.
Police in Georgetown say the three were hit by a Carload Express train early Sunday morning as they walked on railroad tracks.
She was pronounced dead and two people were hospitalized in a critical condition.
Detective Joseph Melvin said that after the train engineer reported the incident, the police were sent to the railroads behind 600 blocks of North Bedford Street.
The names of the victims are waiting for the next notification of the relative. No charge was requested.
Melvin said two men were still in critical condition late Sunday.
Carload Express did not respond immediately to calls and e-mails.
