Hyundai introduced the new SUV model Palisade at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new Hyundai Palisade features an all-new SUV chassis, generous cargo space and an eight-seater seating capacity. Palisade, which will be produced in Ulsan, Korea and will be available in the Americas market in the summer of 2019, will also increase the brand’s effectiveness in the SUV world.

These design features provide a coefficient of friction of 0.33 Cd, giving the vehicle a superior aerodynamic plus. Palisade also offers a special monitor that makes the standard Blind Spot Collision Prevention assistant even more useful when the turn signal is activated. The audio and navigation display is supplied in widescreen format, while the 12.3-inch digital TFT center display panel immediately transmits the driving information to the driver.
Hyundai Palisade offers an advanced all-wheel drive system (HTRAC). Snow mode, this system electronically distributes torque evenly to the wheels. With Normal, Sport and smart modes, this traction system provides Active Torque Control between the front and rear axles, while also delivering maximum driving pleasure in Sport mode. More power is delivered to the rear wheels, while a more dynamic and sporty feeling of driving.
With a large and spacious body, Palisade crowned with an engine that will suit itself, 3.8 liters V6 unit has. This engine produces 291 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and offers a maximum torque of 262 Nm at 5000 rpm. With eight-speed full automatic transmissions, the engine delivers power to all four tyres, in perfect harmony with the front and rear suspension width, increased body stiffness and stability.
