After a large number of spy photos and drawings, Skoda has finally lifted the cover of the Kodiaq GT model, which is special to China.
Kodaq gt, defined as Skoda’s first SUV coupe model, will be the fourth SUV that the brand offers in China. In the country Kamiq, Karoq, Kodiaq and Kodiaq GT will be on sale at the same time. The new Kodiaq GT will be the flagship of the company’s largest market in China.
Based on the standard Kodiaq GT, the GT features a typical SUV coupe design, particularly emphasized by the inclined roofline.
Although the front part is quite similar to the codaq model sold in Europe, the side and rear parts look different. Kodiaq GT looks more dynamic than the standard model. Two exhaust outlets surround the lower part of the rear bumper, the sloping rear window, the playful tailgate and the tailgate.
The SUV is 4.63 metres long, and although Skoda has not yet published its photos, it has a sporty and elegant interior. According to the company, Kodiaq GT will come with high-quality materials and fully customizable virtual cockpit. Wi-Fi access point, MirrorLink, Apple CarPay and Baidu CarLife will also have connectivity features.
The car comes with a 2.0 liter TSI turbocharged engine. This engine is available with a power output of 186 PS (183 hp) and 220 PS (217 hp). The first option comes with a front-wheel drive system, the other with a four-wheel drive system and a seven-speed DSG transmission.
Kodiaq GT also has a front Region Assistant, adaptive cruise control (ACC) and stop – up function, as well as a blind spot detection system. The new SUV will be introduced at the Guangzhou Motor Show on November 16.
