RSA Insurance Group has opened its new office in Luxembourg as part of its preparations for the UK’s exit from the European Union.
The office, which opened on Sept. 3, will provide a platform for RSA in Europe post-Brexit, minimizing disruption to RSA’s business with EU-based customers and ensuring the business continues to serve UK customers’ needs in Europe, the company said in a statement.
The office moved to be led by Richard Turner, formerly the RSA’s UK EU executive, and Luxembourg’s RSA Luxembourg (RSAL) director. The team will start from Luxembourg and Europe with new appointments to be announced shortly before the team.
RSA Luxembourg Director Richard Turner said: “RSA Luxembourg is showing our commitment to the European Union. The investment we have made in this office demonstrates our continuing commitment to our customers and other business partners throughout the post-EU Brexit. “
