State records show that former Southeast Missouri State University baseball player Broc Kreitler settled a lawsuit over an injury he suffered during a practice for $200,000.

The Southeast Missourian reports that the settlement was reached earlier this year, although the only details disclosed in court filings were attorney fees. The Missouri Attorney General’s Office disclosed the settlement in its online legal expense fund report.
In a March 2015 practice in Kredans, the case said that a ball hit by a team mate jumped through a hole in the screen and crossed the screen of an L-shaped shooter when it hit his face. The team accused the university of ”neglect Takım.

The University argued in a court that Kreitler could not control the lines and straps of the display to ensure that they were properly attached.
