Liberty Mutual has introduced a new distribution model for the U.S. in an effort to improve broker access to the insurer’s full suite of commercial and specialty insurance products.

Shaun Kelly, president Global Risk Solutions Distribution, said in a statement that company has organized the U.S. into six geographic regions, and each region will be managed by a regional executive.
”Each region will have a number of branch managers to oversee broker relationships at the local level, Kelly Kelly said. ”This structure makes it easier for distribution partners to access all the capabilities of Liberty and Ironshore, and will create new opportunities in a multi-lined, collaborative way for us to work together.“

New regional managers:

Ron Gleason, South Central Region Manager
Chris Johnston, Midwest Regional Officer
Amy Lochhead, Southeast Region Manager
David Russo, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager
Bob Thomas, Northeast Region Manager
Adam Witten, West Region Manager
In addition to regional managers, Liberty Mutual called Ben Johnson the Wholesale Distribution Manager. Johnson will focus on optimizing relationships with its wholesale distribution partners in North America.

Liberty Mutual is the 5th largest global property and casualty insurance company in 2017 gross written premium, with 50,000 employees in 30 countries.
