Kansas School District to Settle with Student Who Broke Leg in Slip and Fall


The wichita, kansas, college district plans to pay as much as $25,000 to settle a lawsuit with a pupil who fell on a moist floor at a middle faculty on a rainy day and broke his leg.

The wichita eagle reports that a court listening to is set for monday. The district’s board has voted to settle the lawsuit with the student who fell 3 years ago as he approached a stair touchdown at hamilton center faculty. Court documents say the pupil “suffered private injury and incurred medical charges.”

Neither the district nor an attorney for the boy’s circle of relatives spoke back to the eagle’s requests for remark.
