Apex Benefits, headquartered in Indianapolis, has named Stan Jackson as chief innovation officer.
In this newly created role, Jackson will be responsible for developing the products, services and capabilities needed to continue Apex’s long-term innovation strategy. It will focus on new product offerings, applications for large data, forecast analytics, AI for health benefits, and other areas that can best serve our current and future customers. Apex will continue to serve in the leadership team.
Jackson has extensive background in data management, insurance and financial analysis. He has worked in the health insurance industry for more than 30 years and at leadership positions in several organizations, including Anthem, MPlan, Advantage Health Solutions and IU Health Plans.
For two years at Apex Advantages, Jackson served as vice president of Population Health and Analytics and played a key role in the development of ApexAnalytics. It also made Population Health & Wellness a market-leading company. Prior to joining Apex, Jackson was VP of Data Management and Underwriting for SIHO, which supervised the Account Management of the IU Health Plan’s groups.
