Following the introduction of the Q8 and e-tron models in recent months, Audi’s High-Rider series is joining another model: the Q4.
The design of the coupé-SUV was completed in 2014 with the TT Offroad concept. Although details are not yet clear, the new model will have features that will allow the separation from the other SUVs made by its closest brother, Q3 and Audi.
“I think the Q3 is a lot more than the coupe version.”enough to say. The new SUV is expected to be available in 2019 at approximately 31,000 euros (183,000 TL).
The length of the car is expected to be 4500 mm (110 mm longer than the current Q3). This allows the Q4 to provide ample legroom for rear passengers. Tall passengers may experience some difficulty in terms of head distance due to the slope of the ceiling.
High-quality materials and state-of-the-art features will be offered in the interior. Users will find features such as a 9.2-inch display multimedia system, Full-HD control panels, gesture control, wireless smartphone charging.
Using the flexible MQB platform of the Volkswagen Group, the Q4 will come with Audi’s four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The top-level model Rs Q4 can use a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine. In addition, a 50-km-range plug-in hybrid model is also underway.
