Three men in Britain have been found guilty of murdering five people in an explosion as part of a plot to claim over 300,000 pounds ($380,000) from an insurance policy.
Arkan Ali, Hawkar Hassan and Aram Kurd were convicted Friday in Leicester Crown Court.
In February, prosecutors said they had used a 26-liter gasoline (7 gallons) in the arson attack in a supermarket, causing an explosion that destroyed the shop and the above apartment.
Prosecutors said the men had left a shopkeeper to die in the building because they were aware of the insurance policy taken less than three weeks ago. Four people died in the blast.
